Please ensure you inform the Nursery of any changes to any of the information asked on the registration form as it is vital all our records remain up to date.

Unprescribed: If you have had to give your little one medication to bring their temperature down it could be because they have a virus or infection. Children can recover fast, but they can also deteriorate just as quickly.

We appreciate you may be busy with work, however, we have a duty of care to all children in the setting and try to minimise spreading illnesses where possible.

Prescribed: If your child is taking prescribed medication, they may still be able to attend Nursery. We ask that they have been on the medication for 48 hours to ensure they do not have an allergic reaction and that you speak to the setting manager for them to risk assess your little one's attendance. If the manager feels the risk is too high, they have the right to refuse attendance.

If your little one can attend, you will be required to complete and sign a medication form.

Medication must be supplied in the original packaging with the child's name and dosage legible.

We use an online journal system called Tapestry. We try to upload videos and photos where possible with your consent. You will receive notifications regarding what activities they may have done that day, including details on naps, toileting and food consumption.

A brief handover from staff on collection is sometimes possible, if you have any questions needing an immediate answer, please make staff aware and they will be able to assist once the other children have safely been collected.

If your child becomes ill whilst at Nursery, we will contact you (parent/guardian) as soon as possible. If we do not get a reply where possible we will wait 15 minutes and then contact the emergency contact on your registration form.

If needed, we will confirm with yourself to give your little one Calpol as agreed on the registration form.

If necessary, staff will administer first aid and seek further medical help (Hospital/Doctors) and stay with the child until a designated carer arrives.

If your little one's sibling is at nursery, they can stay unless they are showing symptoms too, or in-line with government guidance.

Yes, you are entitled to pick up your little one when you like. However please remember to notify us in the morning. If you haven’t gave us notice, we may be in the woods which will mean potentially meeting us to collect from there.

Please be aware early pickups should be on rare occasions. We cannot accommodate a child finishing early on a regular basis.

If your little one enters Nursery with any marks, bumps, cuts or bruises, please ensure you inform staff on arrival. You will be required to complete a form explaining what happened. This is vital to ensure we have full knowledge of potential medical issues and is also required by our safeguarding policies.

We ask parents to ensure your little one is dressed weather appropriately. This includes any necessary accessories such as hats, gloves, suncream, wellies etc. We recommend bringing wetsuits in all weathers as we will use water play in hot weathers and children may get muddy.

Please do not dress your little one in anything 'special’ or of value as your child will get messy and we will not be held responsible for any stained clothing.

We also recommend packing a change of clothing in case your little one does need to be changed.

If your little one needs nappies, please provide these along with baby wipes and any nappy cream you use. Permission will be required on the registration form to apply nappy cream.

If your little one is ill, they should remain at home until they feel better. If they are suffering from sickness and/or diarrhoea, they should not attend for 48 hours after their last episode.

We follow advice from Public Health England and adhere to their incubation periods. If you are unsure, please speak to the setting manger.

Payments will still be required in full during absences for sickness.

There is a very high possibility of us having a waiting list, but we always recommend speaking to the Nursey manager to check availability.

There is a £50 non-refundable registration fee once a space is offered. This is payable immediately to secure your little one's space. Without this payment your little one's space is not secured.

We work through our waiting list in the following order:

Registered children increasing days

Siblings of registered children

Date joined waiting list

We contact parents offering places when they become available and require the deposit to be paid within 24 hours, otherwise the space will be offered to the next child.

Each setting has their own dates for closure. Please speak the setting manager for more information.

As an OFSTED registered provider, we must follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS). This is available for everyone through the GOV.UK website.

We adhere to the following ratios:

Under 2's - 1 adult to every 3 children

2-3 year's - 1 adult to every 5 children

3-5 years - 1 adult to every 8 children*

*13 children if staff member holds qualified teacher status.

We mix ratios in accordance with EYFS guidelines.

We have an open-door policy, meaning you can request to speak to the manger or staff whenever needed. We ask you to bear with us at busy periods, but we will always speak to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can email the Nursery manager directly.

We aim to offer parents evenings with 2 staff members on inset days or evenings twice a year. Please speak to the Nursery manager for more information.

You can always discuss anything about your little one with your child's key worker. You are welcome to ask for a meeting if required, please email the setting to arrange a convenient time.

You will be invoiced in advance and payment will be due within 7 days.

If you choose to pay via childcare vouchers please speak to the Nursery manger to inform them which company the vouchers come from. Voucher payments must be processed in advance.

Failure to pay will result in your child losing their place ay Nursery.

Yes, we are closed on all English public holidays. You will be charged for bank holidays as with most Nurseries.

Where possible your little one can attend additional hours. This is based on the availability of staff and capacity of the Nursery, so please give us as much notice as possible.

Please note that any additional hours requested must be confirmed by the Nursery Manager via email. Once your session has been booked you will be charged, and payment will be due immediately. No refunds will be given once the additional hours have been booked.

If you no longer wish to attend our Nursery you would lose your £50 deposit and if you have already been invoiced for your first month, you will be required to pay this invoice in full.

Full fees will still be required if your little one does not attend due to a holiday.

Please let staff know in advance of any holidays otherwise you will be contacted to check your little one's attendance.

If you are moving or wish to remove your little one from Nursery, we require you to give us a months' notice in writing. If you leave before the notice period, the full months fees will still be charged.
